my playing career

Balmain Tigers: NSW State Cup (Div 1, 2), Vawdon Cup (Div 1, 2)
I grew up in the Wests Magpies system training with the local Touch Football club, which culminated in representing the club in the NSW Vawdon Cup. We won the Division 3 Vawdon Cup in 2016.
However, after a small hiatus and return to the club. After talks with key figures at the club, I decided to make the switch to Balmain Tigers in 2020.
Balmain Tigers have been incredible in my development into a Division 1 representative playing, taking my game to the next level. The family style club have been welcoming and focused on individual and collective improvement.

International Touch Football: Representing Italy at World Cup 2024
I was honoured to be selected for the Italia Mixed Open squad for the 2024 Touch Football World Cup in Nottingham, England.
The opportunity to represent my heritage and family was special. With a limited buildup, we battled the odds and fought together to make our country proud. We ate together. Trained together. Battled together. The team became family.
I am proud to say that I am part of the first Italia Touch team to make the Finals Series of not only a World Cup, but any International Tournament.

BDAFA Premier League & All-Age
I developed my game in the Panania RSL and St. Christopher’s youth systems from the early age of five years old. In these junior years, I played as a small, agile Goalkeeper with positional awareness. We had an incredible success in these junior years, winning the Division 1 trophy in the U/16 division and participating in the State Cup and Champions of Champions tournament.
After these junior years, I progressed into an on-field role. Starting as a Number 10 and finally transitioning into my preferred position of overlapping, wing defender. I was proud to be selected in the Revesby Workers PL team, even winning the MVP for the 2023 season.
coaching approach
I work with SportsPro to deliver innovative physical education learning programs for children. This includes across the majority of sporting disciplines including soccer, football, hockey, athletics, and cricket. We use a game-sense, sports skills, and sequential learning approach to deliver these programs.
Game sense is an approach to modified sport that engages students in minor and modified game strategies and concepts through an inquiry-based learning approach. All lessons incorporate locomotion and movement awareness, body awareness, spatial awareness and Fine and Gross motor skills and expose students to a vast array of traditional and modified sports equipment.
Designed to encourage students to identify, understand, embrace and utilise the skills, strategies and tactics of a sport through actual playing of modified games related to the sport and ultimately leading to the playing of the traditional sport.
Coaching Experience: AFL, Basketball, Cricket, European Handball, Indoor Floor Hockey/Street Hockey, Futsal/Indoor soccer, Netball, Oz Tag/Eagle Tag, Soccer, Tee-ball/Softball, Touch Football, Ultimate Frisbee, Volleyball, Corner-ball, Dodge-ball, End-ball.

An exciting mix of youth and experience brought this team together. Under the guise of an experienced coaching staff, this was a substantially impressive season that saw a top of the table finish. Unfortunately, losing out in the finals due to injuries and fatigue.

My first representative tournament after playing park footy for many years. Playing in the regular rounds and being trusted to play in the Grand Final from a big squad was a great experience for a young player.

Champions, All-age Division 3
A culture of commitment and brotherhood built this team into a championship dynasty. Under the stalwart of the vibrant and energetic coach Pittorino, this team proved the goods to be dominant for most of the season. I enjoyed my new position at right-back, overlapping into attacking positions, and providing cover defense when required.
